The 14-Night Dry Eye Comfort Plan

The 14-Night Dry Eye Comfort Plan

Thank you for your order. This is a simple evening routine built around your 15 minutes with the Lavina heated eye mask. Nothing to buy, nothing complicated: one small step each night, and by the end it's a habit you look forward to.

  1. Night 1: Pick your spot. Choose where your 15 minutes will happen: the sofa, your bed or a comfy chair. Same place each night makes it easier to keep.
  2. Night 2: Charge it in the afternoon. Plug the mask in after lunch, so it's ready when you sit down. Start on the lowest setting tonight.
  3. Night 3: Lenses and make-up off first. Take out contact lenses and remove eye make-up before you put the mask on. Then press the button and lie back.
  4. Night 4: Phone in another room. Leave your phone out of reach for the 15 minutes. You can't look at a screen with the mask on anyway.
  5. Night 5: Dim the lights. Turn the big light off and use a lamp. A softer room makes the 15 minutes feel calmer.
  6. Night 6: A glass of water. Have a glass of water before you start. It's an easy habit to pair with your 15 minutes.
  7. Night 7: Try a different setting. If the lowest setting feels mild, try the next one up. If it feels too warm, go back down.
  8. Night 8: Breathe slowly. Breathe in for four counts and out for six while the mask warms. Put on quiet music or a podcast if you like.
  9. Night 9: Mind the dry air. Radiators and fans can leave the air in a room dry. A bowl of water near the radiator, or a window open for a few minutes, makes the room feel fresher.
  10. Night 10: Screens off early. Try switching the telly or laptop off 30 minutes before bed, then use the mask.
  11. Night 11: Rest your eyes in the day. During the day, look away from the screen now and then and blink slowly a few times.
  12. Night 12: Make it the same time. Pick a time, like 9pm, and set a gentle reminder. Habits stick when they happen at the same time.
  13. Night 13: Share it. If you bought two, give the second mask to someone who's always rubbing their eyes, and do your 15 minutes together.
  14. Night 14: Your routine. Look back at the nights that felt best and keep those steps. That's your wind-down, and the mask is part of it.

Looking after your mask

Wash the cover by hand in cool water and let it dry flat. Never wash the heating part. Don't use it while you sleep, on broken or irritated skin, or with lenses in. If your eyes are painful or red, or your sight changes, see your optician or GP.

You're covered by our 60-night home trial (used is fine, free returns) and our 2-year replacement promise. Questions? Just reply to your order email.
