Will it work on me?
It works on dark hair (black or brown) on light-to-medium skin. It won't work on grey, white, blonde or red hair, because there's nothing dark for the light to heat, and it isn't for very dark skin. Use the shade check before you order.
Will it work on my chin or upper lip?
Yes, on dark hairs. Face hair is slower to respond than legs or underarms, so expect it to take longer, and it won't do anything for grey or white hairs. Never use it near your eyes or eyebrows.
Does it hurt?
Most people feel a warm flick with each flash. The ice-cool plate keeps your skin cold while the light works. Start on level 1 and only go up if it feels comfortable.
Is it a laser?
No. It's IPL, not laser. IPL uses a quick, broad flash of light rather than a single laser beam.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Hair grows in cycles, so it takes regular sessions: once a week for 12 weeks, then once a month to keep on top of it. Everyone's hair is different, so results vary.
